The Depiction of Al-Bukhārī’s travels in classical Islamic literature

Travel (riḥla) after the death of Prophet Muḥammad, and geographically disparate locations his companions made travelling for acquisition knowledge, attainment reliable ḥadīṯh an absolute necessity it was regarded as a key component in this sacred knowledge. The present paper thus, investigates al-Bukhārī major figure compilation. Furthermore, discusses more specifically how he is perceived exemplified biographical literature (ṭabaqāt/tarājim). It subsequently, analyses historical references (kutub al-tārīkh), search any possible subsidiary details.
